Opening Hours and Prices

Today, the Palais des Papes is a major cultural destination in Avignon, drawing visitors from around the world. It is open every day of the year, with varying hours based on the season: from January 1 to March 31 and November 7 to December 31, it is open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM (last admission at 4:00 PM); from April 1 to June 30 and September 1 to November 6, the hours are 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (last admission at 5:00 PM); and from July 1 to August 31, the palace is open from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM (last admission at 6:00 PM). Tickets are available until one hour before closing. Admission prices are €12 for adults, €10 for children aged 8-17, and free for children under 8.
