Château des Ducs de Savoie

The Elephant Fountain
A true symbol of Chambéry, this unusual fountain is affectionately nicknamed Les Quatre sans Culs (“The Four Without Butts”) by locals. Built in 1838 to honor General de Boigne, who made his fortune in India, it features four elephants standing back to back. A unique monument and a perfect photo stop!
Les Charmettes
